Yo! That's a crazy smart move for both sides. Think about it, on your own MySpace profile, being able to sell items easily, and with a community that large, it'll be easy to sell anything! Who needs Spring time garage sales anymore you know. If eBay and NewsCorp. actually gets this partnership working out, and both split the earnings, why not? With a profile open to everyone, I doubt you'd be able to get ripped off. You know the seller's name, his face, his friends, and his entire profile. Likewise, it works the same way for the buyer. The best part of it, unlike the existing eBay, you'd be able to know who your seller is, and not by the number of stars on their profile. And when you put in the stars on his MySpace profile, it'll build is trustworthiness. People can talk to each other and stuff, and yo, dun forget about Skype! You can call up a cute chick through Skype when you browse around people's profiles (not that I do that now). And besides, MySpace will be able to attract a bigger international community from eBayers, and for eBay, it's just another way of expanding their network.
Again, its a crazy smart move. And both sides have to gain. If only I had the brains for money for that, I would be sitting here.
